Peter - Yes, it's huge and pretty heavy. Fortunately the components are separate, so it can be painted piece by piece. I will do something with the belt - just wanted to get it blocked-in yesterday.

Steve - Much more reconciled to it today - the chain mailed settled down once all the washes were dry and it's looking OK this morning. Onto the final leg - finishing the back of the torso, then the arm and sword, a few tweaks and it should be done.

Hope you can get your back sorted. My neck is pretty painful, not helped by Remi falling asleep on me yesterday and my not wanting to move and wake her. It's very hard not to pick her up - 'Up, up, up!!!'

                Thanks Peter

The strap just got a coat of dark brown Cherry Blossom, then a polish.

                      Morning Peter
                      Another successful bust, well done.
I have just seen your archer!
Not sure that head/face will pass muster?
                      Looks a little ""dog-faced""?
Perhaps the box art was done in particularly bad light?
                      Recycle box at the ready.
Have a good day whatever the outcome.
Another cloudy day in Paradise LOL
I need to reduce my medication!
                      Regards
                      Steve H

Well that was certainly worth all the hard work Peter. He is certainly a brute of a man. Nice work on the leather also. Well done sir!

Steve H - At least I finished him. Not brilliant, but parts of it will do. So you have no faith in the archer? Does look a bit Verlindeny, but if the eyes are OK, it should work out. Pinkies crossed.

                          Steve J - Many thanks.
