Morning Dr Frankenstein Peter

Another successful surgery and well done with the hair and moustache.

I have watched multiple milliput hair sculpting You Tube videos yesterday as all 3 of my tribute figures will need hair do's along with a wardrobe of clothing too!

Looks like a good start for the Celt, and a acre of flesh tone to do.

Its wild, windy and wet here for All Saints day, another typical Autumn day for sure!

Have a good day with the woad too

      Regards

      Steve H

Peter. I’ll be watching seated next to John and Steve I’m not sitting between them like last time I’m not taking that bullet again

Richard - Glad you approve of the head change.

          Stevie J - It's all uphill unfortunatelty

Steve - Good afternoon. When adding Milliput hair I find it best to make the details fairly basic, then paint in the details. Over-textured hair can be a nightmare unless done really well. Wild and windy here too, but good light by which to get to grips with this chap's flesh.

Lee - Sitting between Stevie J and John is not something for the faint-hearted, I'll admit.

So, the front of the body:

What a nightmare - bare flesh is so hard to paint. The body art was taken from part of a design I found on the internet - it's fairly basic, but I think does enough. I'm going to leave the armbands black to represent jet, as I think that adds some contrast to the flesh. On to his back.

              Looking very good ,Peter.
It's not one for the faint-hearted, this one, is it?
You won't catch me trying anything like it any time soon, I can tell you.

                Hi Peter
Head works well. Hair style is good. Body is nice tones and the decoration suits. All in all - so far so excellent :smiling:

                  Lee - Cheers.

Neil - I didn't know what I'd be taking on with this one, for sure.

Jim - Glad you approve of him so far:

Except for the feet, that's all of the flesh done:

                        Morning Peter

The pale pink suit looks good, a good finish for the auburn haired warrior, and nice art work too with the woad.

Stripy trousers will be a really cool look, in natural colours, what was available in ancient Britain?

Looks like you will have a bright day today and frosts by mid week?

                        Enjoy the stripes ans light

                        Regards

Richard - Pumped up and ready for action.

John - Reminds me of someone else:

Steve - I've messed about a bit with the body painting and will do a bit more today. I've decided against stripy trousers as there are a couple of anomalies with the sculpt that would give problems if I went down that route. I have an alternative planned, which should look quite good if it works out. Very stormy night here and a dull start, unfortunately.

Cheers Andrew. The body art has been adjusted to death, but I think I've finally managed to get it to make sense.

                              I've now painted the legs:

I didn't fancy attempting stripes on the trousers, especially as there were quite a few extra lumps and bumps among the folds. I hope that this solution is interesting and colourful enough - Vallejo Japanese Uniform on one side and Medium Olive Green on the other.

Love the trousers. A lot of 'drapery' to deal with.
