I must point out, for the benefit of those who haven't followed the thread from the beginning, that I didn't paint the standard myself. it was donated by Paul, a very kind member of the Planet Figure forum. I would never have bothered even attempting it .


I have to say that after all the belly-aching and indecision with this guy I'm very pleased with him.

And the officer has gold braid and tassels on his shako and breeches and boots, so another slight diversion before I dive back into 'Fusilierville'.
