Looks a lot sharper Steve, so well worth the effort to me.

      Hi Steve
Oh yes, definitely worth stripping the first attempt. As Tim says it now looks very much sharper.

Obviously the eyes have to be painted and detailed.

So out of my comfort zone it's scary.

              Some outstanding work on display.

Keep up the great work Steve.

All 3 horse busts taken from above. there are some noticeable size differences between all 3 of them positioned like this, maybe when all at the correct display angles it will look okay. the flag bearers mount is a lot larger than burthes and the trumpeters.

Excellent work Steve. The discrepancy in the horse sizes shouldn't be noticeable when all together. Anyway horses are like humans, they come in all sizes.

                    Stunning work, Steve.
Nice to know that oven cleaner works so nicely with oil on resin.
Flag bearer (an Italian cavalryman would slap my face with his precious peccary glove for that: in the Italian Army cavalry has standards, not flags :cold-sweat mount, but this is my personal view, should be larger than the other regimental mounts to give the flag more visibility and, not secondly, a safer and sturdier mount.
