    I know what you mean..... When I first heard of optivisors on my return to the hobby I did think they were a bit OTT and relied on one of those magnifying glass stands.....but I wouldn't be without it now.

    Keep up the great work.

      Hi Steve
      As always your work is very impressive. I am sure the size difference won't be noticeable. Glad you like the Optivisor. I couldn't model without mine.

        Yep, i used to use reading glasses 3+ so was a bit sceptical when i saw the claims using the Optivisor, so ordered from Amazon, then if they were no use could send them back, but wow what a difference they make, everything in the field of view is sharp and clear. Found the trick was to use them at the correct distance and then they (2x) blow the 3x specs away - no comparison at all. The other 'eye-opener' has been scale75's Thinner. This has made using the Tube Acrylics, so much better than just tap water.

                        How time flies when your having fun, spent 1 1/2hrs last night painting in the reins, added a flash to his nose, started working on his eyes. Some touchups to do where the horses flesh meets the reins;

                        Need to paint the mouths, lips, teeth and brass ware on the reins

                              Finished the eyes and teeth, not sure how it takes over an hour to paint them, along with the tongue, but there you go.
