I look away for two mins and this is nearly complete. Fantastic build work Paul and your painting skills leave me awestruck.

Hmmm, interesting how the colors are getting darker.

Is it because of the light in the picture or the colors become darker when dried (Vallejo if I remember well)?

Well ive not seen that bright orb for some time now.

        Tony stop looking away

Francesco it could be either, paint does darken when it dries, but it could be my crap photos

Im back on the chariot now guys so more to follow shortly

          Hi all

As I said im back on the chariot now, id like to get this finished first and then the horses, so I finished the other side and then did the first wheel. I added a pattern on the outside and then distressed it, still a bit more to do as I think it looks a bit new, but there will obviously be some dirt and things to add when its on the base

As you can see the sun is shining, probably only for a moment, For all of you in the south batten down the hatches for this evening, sounds like its going to be a bit of a storm so stay safe

              Hi all

              Cheers Joe

Started on the platform, a wooden surround with leather strap lattice

Loads to do on this, I think the lattice work will take as long as the tartan did

... At least mistakes should be easier to fix.

I was just wondering where Budica was. Excellent work!

I have just come a cross this thread I must be blind, the workmanship and painting is world class and one of the best builds I have seen in all these years, it is amazing what you can produce from some sheets of plastic and a good idea - plus great raw talent and a lot of time well done I cant wait to see it finished .
