Hi Richard
Already interesting and although some of the tools are pricey most are cheap and easy to source. In your posts you mention a couple of scales - 1/12th and 120mm. Now I can understand fractional scales, 1/12, 1/35 etc but could you explain how to figure scales expressed as mm.

Bit concerned about Richard now. The post I replied to has been deleted? Anyone know what’s going on?Comment

Originally posted by https://laurell.today/layouts/120mm/120mm scale is a bit like G scale, in the sense that is more of a range of scales. The name comes from that the figures are 120mm in height, but since makers measures differently, sometimes from eye level and sometimes at top of the hat.., they differ from about 1:15 to 1:18 in ratio.

I can answer the figure scale question in detail if needed, but right now I’m more worried about Richard so don’t want to clog up this thread.Comment
