This is the first book of his I have read and Ii am impressed. The use of personal stories really brings the war to life. It is about 32 hours long which is great value.

I am converted to audio books, great to listen while modelling.

I just had a look at some other audio books of his, not cheap, but the concept is very appealing.

I use Audible ( an amazon company ) for my audiobooks.
It is a monthly subscription , £7.99 , and it gives you a ''token'' which you then buy any book/item with.
If you start a book and don't like it , you can return it , and get a token back.
It is cheaper than buying paper books , and , with my eyesight less stress , listening to a "Ian Rankin" book as i type here.

I got these in town recently. This is my second Airfix 1/48 Mustang. It’s a great kit. When I was a kid I made the Matchbox 1/72 kit in the ‘Dooley Bird’ scheme.
