Nope. Going to be a Russian Knights version. Ever since i saw them in 1994 the Su-27 has always pulled my strings. The colour scheme and their display is great

The game store in my area is closing in a month, so I decided to buy some paints while they’re still available:

The varnish mainly because of my mishap with another varnish recently — I figure this one is less likely to cause trouble over modelling paints than car paint is. If it does indeed work well, I might just go buy the other two cans that were left too

The pricker tool was from elsewhere, and opening it just now, it turns out the (very sharp) steel point isn’t really secured to the aluminium handle … what did you expect for €2? Quality? I think I’ll have to mix up some epoxy glue to fix this.

Paul, How is the casting quality of the resin kits? I have been eyeballing these kits for some time but have been put off by reports of poor quality and muddy details.
                            Cheers, Rick H.

Rick, these are the only ones I've purchased so far. I do hate resin as a modeling medium, but I saw the sprues for these two on-line, and they looked pretty good. I wasn't disappointed when I opened them up. They aren't perfect, but better than Wespe & as good or better than ArsenalM or WSW detail wise. PaulE
