I rather like unusual subjects - this qualifies - Soviet vehicle, with 4 early ant-tank missiles mounted on the back. Baby Carriage, because the folding rear cover looked like a pram!
Needless to say, I got this at a good price..................

I popped into the Shuttleworth Collection on Sunday. In the engineering hangar they have a table of old tools and books for sale on a "pay what you think it's worth basis, but this time there was a pile of kits, mostly very old. I picked these:

Bought these 3 as I fancied something easy to do after finishing a couple of more demanding builds.Click image for larger version

Certainly is Si. It'll stand nicely next to the Me262 B-1/U1 Nightfighter i got last week

This arrived week ago, not bad for £10 , less 1p Saves having brushes all touching in a jar .

This is a Wright 3350 oil diffuser, fits on the prop shaft for even lubrication. Also makes a nifty brush holder with space in the middle for a thinner can

A rear thing happened today. Well two actually.
A new hobby shop opened today, nowt but a fifteen minuet drive from home. So we went and had a look.
90% of it was "lady hobbies", card making, patchwork and other such dark arts... But hidden in the corner was the "husbands bit". Not much but a single wall with a small selection of model kits. Some Humbrol paints and a few other "brands" that I avoid. Glass bottles with metal lids. Use once and never to open again!!!
But none the less a good shop to have locally. Glue, brushes, filler close at hand! Yeah!
One thing did catch my eye and i shamelessly took advantage of the 20% opening discount.

I'm with you Al as I love evilbay too! Another Kitty for the stash and it's really a 2 in 1 kit as you get the regular turret parts and gun to build a "D" if you want...……

Ah! The good old Fergie. I learned how to drive on one of these way back in my mis-spent youth and, more importantly, how to reverse with a trailer. Happy days.
