After getting some money back from the health insurance, bought these from SMS last week and they arrived today.
Really wanted the Sea Fury and the Wolf for the Dutch variants, the others were in the back of my head for some time and now was a good time to buy:nerd::
Nicely packed and swiftly sent by John as always.:thumb2:Comment

Hi, I told myself there's nothing to get from Sydney that I can't get here...besides baggage weight was my concern but it happened...
Why the Sherman...because I didn't get it when I was last in Tokyo and because at sale price it was the same converted from Japanese yen if it were sold at Tamiya HQ Shizuoka.
Can't get that particular elastoplast texture here.
Can't get those figures here neither the 1/144 Tomcat.
The art supplies were cheap.
Everything else was costly after conversion. I get Miniart figure sets here for only RM37...try converting that. The MB figures above Are easily RM60 after converting.
Cheers,

Now I just have nip to may local model shop for a 2 channel RC set and some motors.
Not quite the scale of Nimitz, but a challenge for my limited experiance.

In Hong Kong for a work trip...afternoon off so had a sudden inspiration to have a look for a model shop. Was not dissapointed! There are a lot in Kowloon, only visited two...literally couldn't hope for a bigger selection. Language barrier is a bit tricky, but all this for under £50. Hardest part was not buying more.Attached FilesComment

That Typhoon is a really nice kit, I built it a few years ago with the rockets under the wings. The Chieftain, though … I think I’d have gone for one of the recent Takom kits instead of this old Tamiya one, even if they’re probably twice the cost.Comment
