        Halifax Modellers World!
Went years ago when it was a little unit stuffed with second hand stuff,no organisation, cramped and wasn't expecting to find it any better.
        It's changed alot!!

            Evening all,
I finally made it to a show after many years absence - met some of the chaps down at Cosford :thumb2:

It would of course have been rude not to buy something after travelling all that way so.......

some paint. There was a note on the box of paint saying £1.50 which seemed rather too good to be true so I queried if that was just for one bottle rather than the entire box. Turned out the note had fallen off the shelf above :crying:
Stall holder said "but these ones are 10% off". I picked up this set and said I would have it. "oh not that one that's Ammo not AK, that one is full price". Paints had got into wrong box!!! BUM. So the worst bargain ever at the end of the day as I had to pay full price

for the bargain price of £4 so it just creeps into Rons 'under a fiver' category
Bought without looking at the contents - had initial viewing after I got home and it doesn't look too bad

            Very enjoyable day

Or you could reverse that advice: never go to [model show name here] with more than a tenner in your pocket.

I was aware that Revell had reboxed the Ancient Frog Gannet, but I didn't realise that this boxing was new tooling ( OK, 2008 - at least this century! ). It came in two flavours, the ASW. and the trainer version. I simply couldn't track down an ASW boxing, so I had to settle for this ( it has all the parts for the ASW & a sprue for the T5 bits) - I want to do the ASW version, so new decals are all that's needed.
Trumpeter do a 1/72 version, but the Revell has more details, like a open bomb bay - and of course true to my Yorkshire nature, it cost less!

                        Hi Neil,
That's anice haul, I've seen the Airfix Rifleman go for £30+ on ebay, I've got a couple of unopened Airfix Multipose that I no longer want which you are welcome to gratis but don't get too excited as I haven't a clue where they are so I'll get back to you when I find them.
                        regards Jim

                              My haul from Cosford.

First and most important. Simon gave me this when we all met up. Ages ago he said I could have it - And I promptly forgot! What a great surprise. Thanks Si'. All other modelling is on hold whilst I tackle this.

That’s quite an inaccurate model of the Kursk, I’d say — it’s above the water.
