From Steve at PI&S, he very kindly offered to send them after I had lost so much due to it being such a water like consistency. All I had asked was could I seal over the first pour with a coat of varnish !
    Great customer service

Lee it was a good build. The decals aren't the best but the kit is ok. it was years ago i did it and with how i know to build kits now i think i would make an even better job of it. So yes it's worth buying.

While out with the wife shopping she decided to trawl the charity shops and I came across this. From a well known charity shop
Majority of the kit was in one white bag with two main original bags in. For £20 thought why not take a gamble. Checked it all through and every piece seems to be there, a couple of pieces off the sprues but iin good condition.
Not built this before but looks a very nice kit

That’s something a bit different. You don’t see many models of yachts, as far as I know.

I just received a copy of the latest issue of this magazine:

Complimentary, because they printed an article I wrote:

Very Good, Jakko - will you frame it & put it over your bench? :thumb2:

Nah, that would destroy the magazine (in any case it would be impractical to frame everything I’ve written that actually got printed ). It’ll go on one of the shelves with my other modelling magazines when I finish reading all the articles.

Tweezers. After losing loads of bits when they'd pinged off my Poundland ones, I decided to invest in something better, until I saw the price of them!

Did a search on here and someone suggested jewellery/ watch repair suppliers might be cheaper, so I had a look around and found these:

Nice and solid, serrated ends that grip well, and a tenner posted for the set, which I thought was a bargain.
