This came in the mail today. Monogram 1963 Hellcat. It had been started but for the price to get that original box to me was worth it. The fuselage is trash I have a newer one that I’ll replace it with. I really like these old kits to me there fun go collect. I have ordered a updated cockpit for it. This will be a upcoming build and I can wait to get started on it.

And so I can finish building my 1/72 Tiger, some micro tubing that was suggested by our very own StuG-a-holic Bob.
The tubing is going to be used to make up parts for replacement recovery cables.

this is what happens when I roam the ebay in the wee small hours :smiling4: £15
Look, it has a whopping 45 pieces
These things are now over thirty years old so scope for practicing some dilapidation, weathering and mud

this also arrived from Peter - I think it is his best yet. Nicely boxed and cast and at a sensible price (£40-50 for a bust is just ridiculous in my book however well sculpted)
Just hope I can do it justice

Fathers day present is finally here.

My wife had trouble finding stock in the UK so it's come from Japan, hence the delay. Box was a bit squashed but everything inside is fine. I'm looking forward to building my first car and this is probably my favourite one of all time so want to make it nice. One thing I know for sure is that it won't be red!

After waiting impatiently for 50 years. I finally have a Baileybridge in my scale. This kit is 70' of 12ton or 35' of 40ton span. Now if I can score an extension kit I'll be the happiest man. Oh. I wonder if I have enough truck capy. to carry all this in addition to the infantry footbridge & M2 Treadway bridge materials? PaulE

The kit is extremely well molded/sprued/engineered. Best I've seen in my scale. I may have to settle for the basic bridge as I don't think I have enough trucks to carry it. I may have to steal from the Red Ball Express. F18s flying around today, prolly for Air Show this weekend. I'm too slow to get pics as these guys fly pretty low & fast. PaulE

Now the Thunderbirds went by in their F16s. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, should be a good show w/both Thunderbirds & Blue Angels. PaulE
