Might be worth making a box for outside door big enough for parels to be put in with a lockable lid.
I see lots of metal ones for sale now due to number of people who have hermes do the ''you weren't in'' trick.
Not a bad idea Gary, I shall investigate.

It’s a model of the new 3000L fermenter train I spent the last three years advising on as subject matter expert ......basically made out of stainless scrap in his lunch breaks. Apparently it took about a fortnight....
Well chuffed with it....the model is about a foot high for those who still view things in old money....l
Congratulations Tim on your retirement.:smiling: The time and effort gone into the model (looks excellent by the way) must reflect on what a highly thought of worker /person you are .Well Done!:thumb2:

Although intended for photos, I think they’ll very handy in storing all the spare decals I currently have in a shoebox….:rolling:
Had four for just €6, they were 70% off:nerd:.

But yeah, why didn’t they just take a regular-sized envelope and put the item in there, then reinforce it all with some packing tape?
Amazon are like that, large box full of crushed up paper and in the corner the item you've ordered. They probably only have a small selection to choose from .

Thanks Fernando, I hope so too, though a house move may take some of my newfound freedom.......I need to re-establish a man cave first as well....

The flakpanzer I has been on my wanted list for ages but I’m really looking forward to building the Mig...the box art camo looks great to me.

After doing a whole month of 12 hour days inc overtime, SWMBO has given me a little spending money. So naturally i had to spend it on a model. I have been after one of these for ages and found this one going on evilbay. Chuffed as punch i got it.

For the not expensive price of £13 delivered! I remember making the Matchbox version many years ago, with its starved cow representation of the geodetic construction! This is streets ahead, very clean mouldings, PE, and a very nice instruction set. This took my fancy, it's a bit off-beam, just how I like them!
Again, it shows that you can get real bargains on ebay, patience, knowing the subject and regular visits can pay off

This S60 was the predecessor been waiting over a year for it's release
Handled by LZ again, was offered it on a 10 % discount, so had to have it:nerd::smiling3:
