Where do you live? Must be a place full of old model makers dropping off the perch!
There's never anything like that in our charity shops:rolling:

Hi Neil I did ask the lady who was dropping them off but she can't tell me, was hoping to see what else he might have.
Guess I was born lucky  ???.

Pete, I landed on the SS and Grenadiers issues back in the '70s while in college. They have been very useful over the years. I'm sure you are already enjoying them. Cheers, Rick H.

Hi Rick I think these books are brilliant as you can tell from the number I've bought recently, the information is still the same as in newer books.

My local model railway store has now started stocking Tamiya products!! They probably got fed up with me asking if they might expand they’re model section every time I popped in:smiling5:

I only popped in to browse but ended up splashing the cash:tongue-out:

About ten years ago, a second-hand bookstore near where I live suddenly had a huge number of AFV-related books, many dating back to the 1970s or even older, and every time I popped in they would have some more as they sorted through the books of someone who’d apparently passed away and his collection had ended up at the shop. (I figured that out because the same name/address stamp was in all of the books ) I bought a good number of them, but of course, that well has run dry by now.
