You could always cut the side out of the cardboard box the spray booth came in

      Hi Jakko

Been looking for this and finally found it. This is where I saw the set demonstrated.

Not as good as I had hoped, can see it being cut in half and the point rounded, but at the price I paid it doesn't matter.

                    From John at SMS.

                      Hi All,

Some nice goodies being snapped up for the long winter nights. I have been laying low since the SMC, but a few things have been delivered in Bamberg. First was a purchase I made at the show from Didier from Azimut. He didn't have the piece there so he sent it to me from Paris when he got home. It's not a resin kit as one might think,

Sorry for the lousy pic of it. I don't know what Didier did to the pic. The main frame piece,

The pins, counter weights and hoist part are printed and not cast in resin. Very clean and a little strange to work with the first time. CA works well with attaching the etch to the pieces. Of course no air bubbles or warping at all...

Next up was an evilbay purchase going against my "no kit" rule, but it is a beauty and so finely cast in resin with a price of €22,

The shield in the lower left corner is the only warped part and easy to fix. There are lots of parts to clean up as they are molded in thin sheets of resin. Detail is great and is even better than the Ironside kit I got at the show. The downside are the resin tracks that lack some detail. Friuls are the word!!!…...…......

Some of his printer cartridges ran out and/or some nozzles on the printer got blocked.

Not that I ever built one, but Al.by always had a very high reputation for quality. Ironsides, OTOH … I built their M67 flamethrower tank about twenty years ago, and though the resin parts were quite good, the etched ones had oxides on them and the plastic parts were a Korean copy (not Academy) of a Tamiya M48 and were … substandard. Some detail not even fully filled in the mould, that type of substandard.
