Another order received from Creative Models discounted kits section

I don't know how they do it - ordered yesterday morning, parcel delivered today. Can't fault service like that

this is a cracking kit for £30 from the damaged box section - separate track links, four or five frets of etch and very nice looking mouldings. There was no picture of this on the site and it didn't say it was a late version so it was a (nice) surprise when I opened the parcel

            Hi guys,

Received a little care package from John the other day, nothing worth a photo, just some Tamiya Lacquers and Mr Hobby stuff.

However I did pick up an inline filter from Amazon which is something I've been meaning to get for while. It looks like it will be uncomfortable to have on the airbrush when spraying, but surprisingly is very comfortable allowing something for the rest of my fingers to grip on to.

The last few days have seen the post lady busy delivering to Race Towers.

First in was a parcel from my buddy Dude 1 aka Allen "Rocket " Dewire, back from his annual visits to Holland and the show, where he and Fernando seem to go on a spending spree.
Allan had kindly picked theses up at a really good price, and also he and Fernando had included some dry rub decals as a pressy.

What a kind thing to do, he'd contacted me and said he was sending me some kits, two being Russian, then popped in the French Panhard for good measure.

              John.

Well as you know I don't Si but I have the kits so to be seen not being partisan to the Russians I decided as these are the only tracks I can build easily :smiling::smiling:

Jim - it will need to be considerably more than 150!

John - that’s a right pile of Friuls you got there.
Nice French A/C - very kind of Mike. That last one is Chinese - PLA is People’s Liberation Army. Looks like it may be derived from the T72 though

                      John,
the ICM Panhard is a lovely little model, highly detailed, full interior - I made one a few yeara ago ( no crew with mine ). I have the Zvezda Gaz 'Kornet' in the stash & I was looking at it yesterday! Some nice details - both of them would be improved if they included PE....................

Yes buying in bulk is the way, might as well get them for each kit in the stash, those normal links are not for me, far too stressful.
Think you must be one of Creatives best customers, you'll have a trade account at this rate :smiling: Realized that there were Chinese buildings in the background after I had posted. Thought it might have been fully Russian or a Chinese copy of the style.

I can see that some of the smaller items won't be used!

A few years ago, I vowed never to touch another Panda model, but I simply could not resist this - the Russians produce some scary AA systems, the TOR missile can allegedly intercept falling bombs............. After finding scans of the old Shep Paine how-to leaflets, I decided to buy some of his books second-hand. The first arrived today:
