Heh, I came across that yesterday and wondered if I should post it on here for Bob’s enjoyment, but eventually decided against it

It would seem that all the market research done by all makers has produced the same results! T-34 & Panzer III models are what the modelmaker wants! Competition - OK, but surely there's only a finite number of, say, T-34 models to be sold, splitting it between several manufacturers reduces the number each individual maker sells. I'm sure it makes sense to someone, but it doesn't to me!

One time when I was in the USA, I was asked by an acquaintance of mine, as we were driving along some American road with a whole bunch of fast-food places grouped together: “Do you know why they’re all in the same place? Because McDonald’s does extensive research into what the best location is, and when they build a restaurant there, everybody else does too.”

I wonder if the same thing is going on here.

So what happened to the T34 signed off by Igor Atank from Factory 138 on July 27, 1943 at 0838 hours? Seems like there's a kit of every other T34 ever made, so what's this one done to upset the manufacturers?

On the HK website - 1/32 Avro Lancaster B Mk.I Nose Art Kit (01E033), seems a bit steep at $75.00 on website here

Looking at the renders it looks stunning, I'll wait for in box reviews before commenting on the price but it looks not too far off.

Not for me, but I'll bet someone with decent skills could create a very impressive robot army with these by filling the joints with putty to represent canvas/leather covers and a good paint job.
