                              Hi Dave this is certainly true I was there but you have to remember the planet Toon is in a parallel universe to earth and a lot of events are the same, it is the Titanic leaving Toonhampton harbour on the 12th of April 1912 on its ill-fated maiden voyage.
                              I hope that helped I got the information from Toonipedia.
