Impressed - heavy, good quality, double sided - the other is dark grey printing over the same light grey base. I'm sure it'll upset some people, but, it's metric only! :rolling:

F82s were reintroduced in 1948 as jets of the time hadn't the legs to escort bombers into Russia. In theory, they could fly from England to Moscow & loiter for 30 minutes & return. 12 hour flights were possible. They were based w/Strategic Air Command. PaulE

Following recommendations I've got hold of this. I think some practice on previous kits is in order first!

Ian, if you ask SimonT nicely, he might lend you his trained spider to weave spokes in the tire rims...Or do you plan on making them yourself???

Stole these off of "Evil Bay". They haven't been available for years as I discovered the bottom of the models were marked W. Berlin. I thought I was getting the SS100 tractors and turns out they are the ST100 version. I'm good with that! Happy Day. Rick H.Click image for larger version

About 1100 more pages of reading material for me:

I would have liked the original editions rather than these reprints, which you can tell have been scanned from an earlier edition, but these are still very good books if you’ve got an interest in American armoured vehicles.
