Here is my latest purchase. apart from putty they are few and far between and I have no idea when I will get around to this one. I hope to build most of the different types of Bren, Scout and & Universal Carrier

Must be better than the Heller effort. I never built the MBT but I did make the anti-aircraft variant 20 tears ago or so, and even then it didn’t strike me as the best-engineered kit in the world — but at the same time, obvious that Heller wanted to get things right. I’ve been wondering how this one stacks up ever since Meng released their first version.

I’ve got the Resicast version of the bulldozer (and built it) but thought this mostly plastic kit too good to pass up at a reasonable discount, perhaps to also turn into a derelict wreck of the immediate post-war period

American stars (useful for this and other Shermans I want to build in the near future), British ammunition boxes and very thin brass tubing. I should have really had this book a few years go when I converted two 1:72 scale Cromwells into one Challenger, but hey

Cleared out a load of stuff on ebay and decided that some of it would be spent on new kits, so I got a hold of these two.



Not built a Trumpeter kit yet and hear good things, so looking forward to these. I also had the pleasure of seeing a Sea Fury in action at Duxford last year and this has been on my wishlist for a while.
The Gannet I got just because it's a great looking machine.

I also picked up one of these. Since I build navy planes it seemed appropriate.



Never done a ship before so will be interesting.

I also picked this up but didn't do my research. Scalemates shows this as the original 1957 and it shows, with virtually no detail and raised panel lines. I might just let this sit in the stash and get the Hobbyboss one instead.

I realised that. Was running out of liquid cement so made a quick trip to my local model shop to pick some up and weakened when I saw this paint set. we'll see how good they are to use at the weekend.

and from Steve Jones, a superb StuG Ausf C/D, now the sad bit. It looks like a D as it has the radio ariel wooden rack BUT this was back fitted so a C or D!



How on earth does he pack that much detail into so small a kit???? and the figures, fantastic. Will have pride of place in my modeling den

These two arrived the other day . The pzl p11c was £7.35 free postage and the pzl p23 karas was £9.95 free postage. Very nice reference for my upcoming pzl 23 IBG models kit. I haven’t got a pzl p11c yet ( intended picking one up at Cosford , DOH! ) but I’ll be getting the excellent new Arma hobby p11c expert set sometime soon .The orange series book in particular is excellent with good history, loads of photos ,lots of colour profiles and drawings of the cockpit and other areas useful for modellers .

Fantastic piece of kit Bob. So versatile with the differing size chucks, think its one of the best small modelling tools I've bought.
