Must be, since getting back in to modeling and with no basic paints, brushes, on and on, I just got cured to the tune of about $80, OH, and starting my "stash", another $90.

These only took 13 days to make the trip across the North Sea … the date on the postage label says 08/04/20, they arrived half an hour ago. By air mail :rolling:

Another 1/48 armour kit arrived today, since I enjoyed the last one so much

And I saw Andy's HHQ do an unboxing of this. Because it's so futuristic looking he mentioned he might paint it in SciFi or Warhammer colours. I liked the sound of that so picked one up myself and may possibly do the same.

Not the most detailed of castings, but a substantial hunk of resin - in 1/9, or 1/10 scale

Colour call outs, all in French - and a list of Knights this could represent - I think a bit of heraldic research is needed, for his shield.

Really nice kit Dave and the instructions look real busy too. A shame you don't get a snowmobile with it though...…..

Allen,
can't be too greedy! The Trumpeter version sells for around £80, and the Meng version £115+, ( Zvezda ebay price £40 ) there's a big difference in price, so if a snowmobile appears, who knows?

Nice one Dave, that model is also on my must do list along with some other multi-wheeled stuff.

I discovered the other day that Star Decals released a set for British vehicles on Walcheren, 1944, last month. This just happens to be one of the subjects I’ve been interested in in recent years, and even better, it includes decals for a tank I’ve built but which has been on hold until I figured out a good way to do its markings

Not the Crab, that’s another one than the particular tank I’m building, but the set also includes markings for a Sherman V. Still, it’s missing the hardest part to replicate, the name on the side, but this set does make the rest rather easier. There are also some small mistakes in the decals and the instructions, so I guess I’ll have to mail Star Decals in case they ever decide to reprint this set

Hi Jakko.
Anything for an LVT-4 or M29 in that set?
Jon.
