I just got off line with with an order from Brach Models in Italy. More later.........John's gonna hate me even more!!!

Just a hint of flash on one or two parts, but generally very good

Are you getting replacement wheels for the HMMWVs? Those were definitely the weakest points of the Italeri kits.

Can carry on with the MiG now, decided to add etched cockpit interior. I think the paint over a black undercoat will be pretty darn close to the colour Eduard has used. (Only painted a small patch on a piece of card so far.)

Not totally model related but picked these two up for £7 each. Superb printing and a bargain, even at £15 they are worth it. Lots of history, photos artwork and model references as well. A4 landacape (A3) 140+ pp

                    Hi all

So after seeing Steve Brodie get this book I took a punt and have to say I'm very impressed so far. I didn't get it quite as cheap as him but with the discount and the points I earned from John's store, it came in about a 1/3 under what it normally goes for.

I'm also looking to improve my figure work as I can't paint them for love nor money and recalled Tim Marlow's recommendation of this flesh wash, so thought why not!

You had me wondering if mail delivery in the UK in the 1930s was a very high-class occupation

The kit is inside, a mini Y-wing and when completed it can stand on top of the DS:

Does it come with a Danny Glover? (Even though they actually used a 337a Superskymaster in the film, less glass and more spinner cones.)

I'm watching one of these being built at the minute. The guy reckons it's a great kit but the main U/C can't take the weight and bows noticably in the pictures, especially once he'd added nose ballast. He's ended up using some clear sprue to prop it up.

For my Lysander overtrees. These are designed for the original Gavia model - which is now the Eduard model!
OK, these aren't pre-painted, but they were less than half the price of the Eduard set - even including p&p
