OOOOoooooo, "P.E."..... moving up in the world Lee. Good luck with this when you start it, being a Tamiya kit....it should go together well for you. The late G model is one of my fav. Panthers. Rick H.

Well the Santa list was confirmed today - guess I'm getting the new Italeri 1/32 Tornado kit, Revell's 1/32 Spitfire kit, and Airfix's Avro Vulcan B.2 1/72 kit is on pre-order :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::t humb2::smiling4:

Someone is going to need a bigger shelf.

Hate to break it to you Rick but I’ve used PE on 1/25 Trucks since I was first introduced to it by my older brother in the late 80s early 90s. Using it on dashboards, engines, mirrors and extreme detail parts on semi trucks in 1/25 scale. I just avoid it when can.

Like the Plague!.....I use it only when there is not an alternative......in this scale the stuff is like razor blades and is very unforgiving. The thing I dislike most is it 's one dimensional look......very flat and it is too small to build up into a multidimensional assembly. Rick H.

My latest additions to the kits. They are so different from the cheap crud I bought, broke, and sent back.

I use Gator Glue rather a lot so having read Alan G's post about Gator Glue ceasing production I thought I had better build up my stock. Hard to find but eventually found a shop in Germany with stock. It arrived this morning :tongue-out3:

I've not tried the Thin stuff before.

One interesting thing - those white packing pieces. Well these aren't plastic. They are made of corn starch and dissolve easily in water. So instead of plastic in the environment you just wash them down the sink :thumb2: I thought that was good.

Nice buy Jim. WRT the corn starch packing, it’s great stuff, but don’t use them to pack finished models if you’re moving. If they get damp they can stick to the model.....guess how I know!

Thanks to Dave's heads up, I've just returned from L**l with this fistful of 'Starter' kits.

                            Superb little models to construct.

The glues, paints and brushes will all keep me going for ages - and all at a fraction of the cost of similar 'superior' stuff.

The Pfalz is one of the earlier Eduard models ( 1996-7 ), the ICM, a 2019 reboxing of their 2015 Soviet version.
Purchases made sweeter, due to some very nice auction prices!
