Keeping postie fit, I had these delivered today from John at the shop.
Building up my stocks of the new AK paints

A cheap accesory kit that looked like it might come in useful for my current build

And a few scratchy bit. Never worked with brass so should be fun

And the biggie. I've seen a few of you recommend the Daylight desk lamps, so Zoƫ ordered this as a Fathers Day / Anniversary pressie

So far it seems miles better than the cheap LED battens I've been using. Super bright but not harsh, a much more natural colour, virtually no shadows, and has a great reach so I can move it anywhere on the bench, plus to the painting area at the side.
It's huge though, almost touching the ceiling!Comment

I've been using something similar to that for a year Monica, and it was always a bit of a juggle, moving the model to where the light was best but uncomfortable to work on.
I tried an IKEA desk lamp which was better for positioning but too narrow a source.
This seems to be ideal, apart from my son now wanting one for his Warhammer figures! :smiling5:Comment

Honestly though my bench is exactly the same glorious organised chaos , looks as if a howitzer shell has just landed :smiling5:

I blame the fact that I had to move everything to get the new light in.... :smiling5:
I'm on my phone so links are a bit tricky, but Jim mentions a similar light here
The new version of that is called the Lumi. Zoƫ must have got mixed up and ordered me the higher spec Luminos, but I'm not complaining lol.Comment
