Good evening all
So firstly apologies for not being around much since Christmas, work has been very busy/difficult/downright stressful since the start of the year and has left me with little energy after work or at weekends, the mojo though has started to return, leading to my first purchase in eight weeks, swiftly followed by two more! Shocking I know!
All of these were of course absolutely necessary......as you will see......

So first up this.....ones stash should of course contain a Boulton Paul Defiant, simply because it really is such a bonkers plane. Picked this up on eBay....not the absolute recent 'best price' but cheaper than most go for and almost 20% cheaper than the cheapest new delivered!

Next up this.....I was practically forced into buying these by a national chain of hobby stores (Hobbycraft for our UK members) when they offered £5 off any purchase over £15 when using their app.....the tape was needed to take it over the £15 limit and will come in handy. So in effect, the kit only cost £9.50 instead of £12.00.

And finally this......a real departure for me......as a rule I'm not a jet fan and the more modern they get, the less I like them.....sorry guys but they just don't have much/any character to my eye....a bit like modern locos compared to the good old steam engine.
However, I have always had a soft spot for the F-4 Phantom for some reason. My research revealed that Fine Molds were the best Phantoms out there.....my research also revealed that they are not cheap and ones with US markers seemed to be cost more than the Japanese marked ones.
I was not going to spend stupid money and so I spent over 2 months waiting until I saw this one come up. The seller actually dropped their price twice and so in the end I managed to pick this up for 10% cheaper than the cheapest out there. I was also pleased to see that it actually comes with two good looking crew.
