Oh I hate it when they do that, it's bad enough when my LMS sticks their non-removable price stickers on the box (they should know better) but Amazon are the worst - I've had that happen to me a number of times.

      Awesome pressie though!!! :thumb2::smiling5:

I’ve got a Sherman with that also on my wishlist, somewhere a bit of the way down though

For the D-Day group build, I had the Resicast conversion set to build a Sherman BARV, but not a Sherman to stick it onto. That has now been remedied:

(Ironically, I now have the type of Sherman that Lee Drennen has a deep-wading set for … just in the wrong scale )

Also an airbrush holder, because I got rather tired of precariously balancing my airbrush on the table or holding them between my knees when I’m using it but need both my hands for something. And speaking of airbrushing, when I wanted to spray the models I have in temporary custody, I found I didn’t have enough dark yellow, so I also ordered a bottle of that, plus a few other colours I can use.

A nice new airbrush hose complete with never had one before 'quick release' connection, it's three meters long, so the compressor can live in it's semi sound proof cupboard while I blow paint on to polystyrene.

Miko (my old one managed to uncrimp itself at the hose union joint, after ordering the new one I managed to repair the old one!)

I'm away for a few nights next week for work, so whilst I'm stuck in a crap hotel room I thought I'd take something along to play with. I doubt I'll get to paint, but I can take some basic building tools with me.

Hey Steve, I know your pain! the best way to remove the sticker is to warm it with a hair dryer, if you're careful and get it nice and warm it works 9/10 times.

This turned up a year or two ago from Amazon

Well,my airbrush set up is in the garage, too big and noisy for my,already rammed, modelling room.
I stumbled across this little beauty on Amazon last night....

...and it arrived today at 2pm!!

                      It's currently on offer,reduced by 40% from £89.99 to £54.39, including postage!!
Not used it in anger yet,but have set it up and played with the 3 pre set air pressures. It has very good reviews, and imho it FEELS like it should do a half decent job.Obviously it's no Iwata, but for the likes of me it suits for camo, base coating, priming, washes etc.
It's tiny,(about the size of one of the original C.D. "Walkman" type things), very quiet and can also be run on it's internal lithium battery for up to 70 minutes,if necessary.
All in all I think it's a cracking little thing, especially good if you're thinking about airbrushing but don't want to lay out a lot of cash!

Had a free hour or so this morning so I popped down the road to Rhuddland models - not a bad little shop if you're ever in the area.

They had some nice kits in there - a lot of AFV Club Churchills and Airfix M10s for some reason, but I came home with this - I have a soft spot for softskins and this looked like fun. I thought it would go well with the Jeep I picked up the other day. Only £22. It was either this or an Italeri M.8 Greyhound for the same price.

And I also picked this up from the 2nd hand pile for £7. I'm not really into German stuff as such (although I'm not anti it either), but it looked like a fun little project. I might build it up on wheels and find something to tow it behind - open to suggestions as to what.
