    Hi,
yesterday I got some brass rods, 20 sanding sticks and the scraper/scriber tool set that Andy T recommended to me. Thanks Andy! I'm looking forward to trying it out.
    Best regards,

Little blokes on horses. Took advantage of the 20% off deal on Victrix last weekend…….

Got some flags for them as well. These are a little tricky to use, but are superbly printed…..

Also just been to the Salisbury show and came back with these…..

Pleased with these. The French stuff is a bit different and the Dauntless is the earlier incarnation of the kit Andy did for the carrier GP I believe….

I didn’t take any pictures at the show. It took enough effort just to get myself around….let alone carrying a camera….good show though.

The Mail Man dropped these off this week. I heard Silly Putty is good for masking Models I guess I’ll find out. Also I needed more paint. Click image for larger version

Silly putty is great for masking models, as is Science putty and physiotherapy putty……they are all the same things…..

I have wanted a Lumi Task Lamp for a long time, but as they are rather pricey I restrained myself.
Well yesterday Mrs G and I were in the art shop, and she calls me over, and says look at this, showing me a Lumi Lamp, just what I had wanted, and she says, now wait for it, why don't you get one, well not wanting to look a gift horses in the mouth, and always wanting to do what I'm told here it is.
            Happy camper.:smiling2:

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

That light, Garry, will prove to be money well spent. Well done Mrs G.

Thanks to Andy T for "persuading" me to spend some modelling pennies :smiling:

Some scribing tape to use instead of my usual Dymo tape. The Dymo tape is rather too stiff and sticky. Also a set of scribing chisels. They are not the best quality but were cheap and actually work well.
