As Jakko mentioned, this is not one for the "mechanically impaired" individual. I have a system that works for me and I can knock out a good number of grabs in a relatively short time with excellent accuracy. :thumb2:
Thanks Rick . Apparently this is an improved version that NightShift has given some help with.
How ever my old system with an aluminium plate was hard to use and the No of sizes was limited.

Nice one Rick! Look really good......especially allowing for the fact that they're the wrong scale!

In all seriousness, what do you have planned for them??

          Afternoon all

So I have managed to go five weeks without buying a kit, something of an achievement given last year's haul!

But I'm still picking up a few bits and pieces.

The mask is for the new Airfix ME-410 that came out last November but they have only just become available.....I was though short of the minimum order value hence the Luftwaffe Swastikas....I'm not normally fussed when kits don't include them but as I have some like that I decided to make up the order with something I can make some use of, and decals were the only way of doing that without incurring any P&P from the seller.

As for the book.....I'm currently reading Stephen E Ambrose's book on Pegasus Bridge. In it he says this is the best on the Remagen Bridge battle........we've off course all seen the film , so I thought it would be interesting to find out the true story....second hand for a sensible price.

Just a heads up. I’d check those extra decal swastikas Andrew. I have the same set and some of mine were printed out of register. I didn’t use them for a few months so couldn’t send them back. It didn’t make them unusable, just left me with some awkward touching in. :crying:

Thanks Tim! Don't remember seeing anything obvious but will check.

That’s an Airfix kit I’ve never seen before…..of an aircraft I’ve never seen before either.

I remember building a Rototyne when I were a lad. Always had an inkling to have a bash now I've kinda grown up now!!!! Brilliant concept. The predecessor of the Tilt Wing I reckon, (just my view). I look forward to seeing this one built if you decide to construct it!

                      Modelling related...

A bunch of flat pack for the new command centre. I think my cardboard bin will be full for a while!

I was going to hire a van this weekend and lug it all back from Ikea, but for around 20 quid more they delivered it next day, straight into the room where I need it. Well worth it to save my poor back :smiling3:

It’s going straight to the front of the queue. Once I’ve finished my GB builds.
