I rarely buy resin but thought I had to put this up as they look really good and appropriate formy local dio scenes. Also it'll be great to join the No Injection Molded GB with these.

This ones a bicycle rickshaw you'll find mainly in Penang and Malacca.

Finally some cane chairs and sofa...the bird cages was what drew me to buy this.

They're from B& L Vietnam and were purchased during my trip to the Penang Show last June. They are so delicate and fine that painting them up and adding to my dios will be interesting.

Those bits look superb Richard. The spoked wheels on the Honda in particular take the eye….i bet you can’t wait to let them out of their cages…

Yes Tim, but the GB commences next year I think. I would have scratched my hands raw by then.
And Jim, my colleague that shared half of the purchase...we split some as they came in twos just simply snapped the parts off the tree. I will still use nippers for that.

My Formula One wheelchair (as a mate called it). it speeds along at a whole 8mph, it raises me almost to standing height and can carry me for about 15 miles. It’s actually a Permobile M3 with all the necessary ‘add ons’ so it cost a small fortune but it’s worth it…

it means I can largely live normally and independently and that includes accessing almost everything in the modelling room. I will need a spot of help putting or removing models from my highest shelf, but that’s it….
Nice chair, but my Turbo Twist will beat it hands down..... 16 km/h (12.8 m/h) top speed. ???. Enjoy your new chair, I know totally how important and life changing a good wheelchair can be.

      Ok. Chaps...some more arrivals!

      ACW as usual.

Some more masks for the recent wingy purchases!

A real departure for me. Saw this pop up on a Farcebook auction site last weekend. Here in the UK the cheapest new is £35 but circa £40 is the norm. There have though been a few eBay sales cheaper, with the cheapest @ £26, which is what I paid for this, so a pretty good price IMHO!

I don't believe in keeping a stash of models I may never build, but this has just arrived in readiness for the '4 wheels on my wagon' GB next year:

And I've treated myself to some new sprue cutters, the single bladed type:

ID:	1236335I've only had a quick play but they would have saved loads of clean up time on the hundreds of tiny parts in my current build. Such a flush cut, even compared to my Mr Hobby cutters that I already thought were really good.

I love my pair. Just DO NOT Drop them onto the bench/cutting mat. The cutting blade is nice and thin and bends quite easy. Conversely they can be a bit brittle and break if they think the object is to hard. Treat them with care and they cut like a hot knife thought butter.

        Just received this,
Since my old workhorse (H&S hansa 381) refuses to spray VMS varnish (I assume because of very stubborn paint residue or a worn trigger seal) I decided to get me an affordable airbrush with a 0.5mm needle... I hope this one will resolve my varnish issues and if so it will only be used to spray varnish...

        It's a Fengda FE-183 (0.5mm needle),
quite impressed what I get for the price I paid, although I do notice a certain quality difference with my older (and more expensive) H&S.

And at last I've found a multi holder (from Dspiae) that can take regular and trigger style airbrushes:

Even though I have more sanding gadgets than anything else I couldn't resist this. Should be better than having everything scattered around my bench:

I'll comment on my own post since I forgot to mention it. Strangely Dspiae don't include their 280 grit in this 'full' set. I'll use that much more than some of the others so may swap it out, unless I can find the correct block & case separately, which will clip onto the side of this lot.

I think Dspiae are going to bring more of those sanding sets out, but probably as singles as you can clip them together, I must say the first thing I did with mine was remove the tops found they got in the way.

Thanks John, I'd definitely be up for a single 280 if they do. And I hear you about the tops, I may just do the same.

it won't be as detailed as the one Rick is building, probably just straight out of the box, but I'm still excited to crack on with it.

        Hi all

So some arrivals this week....all of course essential.

Some basics, some kits and a book.

        ACW as usual.

        -----------------------------------------------------------

        Canopy masks for recent acquisitions...

        Decals for my Spitfire XIVc...

Some basing materials.....25% off thanks to a voucher

This was missing from my portfolio of Japanese plans!
Whilst not super cheap, I got it for a good price and as it's a Cub edition is comes with some interesting marking options

Won these in a charity raffle at today's show. The book is on the Napoleonic era, which I also have an interest in.

ID:	1237499 Few bits from the Lincoln show yesterday . The AK paint markers look very useful and will be getting a run out on some squiggly camo sometime . The multiple rolls of tape was a tenner - bargain and even though I said I wasnt going to buy kits still managed to come away with three! The Tamiya GPA just tickled my fancy and was a bargain £6 , the Jo Han me 262 is for a future what if and the Zvezda il 76 was an absolute steal at £5!
