After nabbing a Spit mk1 and Tomahawk last week in Aldi. Today I went back to Lidl and bagged a DUKw amphibious vehicle and a Foland Gnat T1.

I was good all weekend, did not buy anything, thats a whole two days..... ?
But today saw a new parcel arrive.
As I now have a few planes to build thought I'd treat myself to a plane stand, one of those 3D jobbies, adjustable, etc.

Delivered on time from 'Scale Model Shop' FineMolds 1/72 Mitsubishi F2B

I do enjoy a prototype or research aircraft and this one is a fine addition to the stash! One of the first two seater 'super' F-16s developed by Lockheed Martin and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as their Mitsubishi F2B, I have a few 'FineMolds' kits in the stash (F-4EJ F-15J) and this one seems to be a better representative kit than the Hasegawa F2 in 1/72
Although I'm not building much recently due to circumstances beyond my control, adding to the stash is still a thrill and whets my appetite for when I return to the bench!

Miko (in a struggle with Royal Mail over deliveries of stash items!! aarrgghh!!)

My local model shop had an "Open" day today with 15% off kits so treated myself to a German Junkers Ju88 A-1 plane.
I built one when I was a lad, not that well though, so hope to do a better job with this one.

                      Afternoon chaps!

So yours truly got another year older earlier this week and so what follows comes completely guilt free on the stash front!!

A combination of son, daughter, mum and work. My wife and I had a trip to London a couple of weeks ago, so that covered her gift.

                      ACW as usual!

                      ATB

                      Andrew

                      ----------------------------------------------

Bought with money from my mum.
Been looking for a set for months to go with the AFV M41 in the stash but they are likes hens teeth and/or going from silly money from Japan. Finally my saved eBay search paid off when a hobby store got some in stock....and with perfect timing too.

                      From my daughter.
                      - The book has got very good reviews on a number of podcasts I'm on and has recently been released as a paperback, so I pre-ordered it in the Spring,
                      - The Tiffy kit is a charity purchase and also a Spring pre-order. Airfix have partnered with a charity that is rebuilding one to flying condition as there are currently none, with all profits going to the charity. And as it's a special kit and I intend to do it canopy open, I splashed out on a load of AM parts

The Toblerones (including a new flavour) are from my son and the fancy chocolates are from my work - everyone gets a gift on their birthday

Not modelling related, but after driving my temporary runabout for 3 years ? I've finally found myself a new motor, a BMW X5.

It took a long time to find the right colour, model, condition & mileage, but I've finally done it. With the 40d engine it goes like a scalded cat, however running costs might be a little higher than the 3 cylinder Suzuki Alto it replaces ?
