Very cool. Enough room to take 1/32s to the spray booth.

A quick trip to the Sussex Model Centre this morning...
I want to give the 'rattle can' varnishes a go and am slowly increasing the Tamiya paint stash. The Spitfire just jumped off the shelf, lovely little kit and having given the contents of the box a once over, the moulding is still good: no short shots or flash.

Ah, you have to watch out for Spitfires (insert other kit of choice) they have a habit of doing that ?

After having my car written off a couple of months ago, and fighting the insurance company for a decent pay off for it.. (which i got in the end), I grabbed another insignia..(I'm a vauxhall man..lol), this car developed an 'adblue pump' issue within a couple of days, so it was returned to the dealer for them to rectify it... after having it for just over three weeks they folded and offered me a full refund..(just over £6,500),

So within a few hours I'd sourced another car which cost me a couple of grand more, but it's the exact version of this car I wanted, it was delivered on thursday (this week), so here she is... the addition to the household..

Very nice. I think the Insignia is an under appreciated model.

Gotta agree with you there buddy,
Although vauxhall's build quality during the eighties and nineties did nothing to reaasure folk they were getting a 'decent' car for their money, and then old Clarkson started his 'I hate Vauxhall's ' thing, and a lot of folk followed without actualy owning or driving one.
A friend of mine, upon seeing the new 'Grand Sport' pics at the Geneva motorshow back in 2017 swore blind it was a new BMW, right until the 'badge' was revealed.

I had several of it's predecessors, the Cavalier, as company cars, and was always impressed by what you get for your company's money.

Bought this cheap plastic tray, mostly for sanding as I can easily wipe it off and thus keep my desk clean. Also some Milliput for future experiments with figures...

Good idea with the tray, just with the small amount of sanding I've done so far, there's bits everywhere, Lol!

A 'freebie' courtesy of Amazon Vine, little clips marketed as ideal for Gundam kits to identify which frame is which. Only used on an Airfix Spitfire frame so far, and given there are only two it's probably overkill, but I did need a 'model' for my review which is part of the deal!Click image for larger version
