3 built '47-'50 - first production Martin-Baker ejection seats fitted to two. Not good enough performance over land based aircraft. Cancelled

I know now why it is cheaper to buy on line. I am fortunate enough to have a local model shop that I like to support. However on the last 3 occasions that I have visited it to buy some paint etc I have ended up walking out with yet another model. Todays purchase from the bargain bin this gorgeous Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk.1Xc. Box has never been opened. Note to self. When visiting model shop leave bank card at home.

I'm running low on certain strips & rods so had a stock up and there's some mesh as I can never seem to find a suitable size.

The T ruler should help me to cut things square for a change, and also make my own strips in the future.

And some scribing tape. I've tried everything from masking to Dymo tape but cannot get on with any of them. A roll like this should last a lifetime so cheap in the long run.

That was from Ebay. "ultra precision marking ruler t-type" brings up plenty of options.

Ooooohhhh noooooo. I am afraid that my model shop is hallowed ground for me. As much as I love her this is my space.

Those figures helmets don't have to go on, so I'm hoping I can bash berets for them.
And painting the overalls in the colour of the guys in the pic from that time , hopefully that will work.

My brother dropped by to give me these:

As he recently bought a 3D resin printer, I asked him to print some of Rob Lockie’s M3/M4 idler wheels for me, since the idlers in plastic kits often don’t have the undercut under the rim. “How many do you want?” he asked, so I said six or eight, as I have at least two kits I can use them on already, plus some for future use. No sooner said than done
