    New to modelling

Decided to try my skill at "italeri ford escort rs1800 mk2" quickly gave up on making it the way they wanted n went fully my own style paint and use parts they tell you not to use in instruction manual. My paint skills are bad but its cheap paints n car alloy and body spray paint iv used for shell and all silver parts. Still not finished fully as seen another build that someone cut out back to fit spare tyre inside boot space that i need to try before i full cement in battery n fuel system. As well as make 4 pint harness that they supply but tell you not to use for sum reason. Belts are just red paper leaflet i cut but i also made green ones from earth electrical tape stuck to paper but struggled to keep any shape with it. Need to make an exhaust tip as one supplied is terrible looking, might make full exhaust from stainless welding rod. I was giving extra set of slightly larger escort alloys from person on ebay i bought it from at no extra cost.

    Nice start RabCee.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Hi and welcome. Theres no right or wrong way to do a model, you do what you want fella.
The instructions are just a guide, but they are our models, so we can do what we like with them.
Yours is looking good. Nice work....
