As the members of this forum will have noted there has been a large number of ex Military Modelling forum members joining. The Military Modelling forum and the associated magazine are soon to be no more. On behalf of all the new members I would like to assure you that we will do all we can to support our new home. It must be quite daunting for established members to see this influx from Military Modelling. I sincerely hope that we can be a benefit to an already well established and most excellent forum.

Just wanted to echo Jim's words and assure the existing membership that this is not some kind of a takeover, just a load of old modelling codgers looking for a new home. Many of us felt that we wanted to stay in touch and continue sharing this wonderful hobby, so it seemed natural to migrate to another site where we could do so. The fact that so many of us have chosen Scale Models from all of the competing sites gives testimony to the great vibe this site gives off.
