Hi there my name is ian, been modelling on and off since i was about 12yrs old.
my interests are 1/35 afv both WW1, WW2, modern, I don't take myself to serious (rivet counting) I just try to have fun and enjoy the hobby, also Like to dabble in figures, aircraft, si-fi.
Got back into building about a year ago, work in progress are a dragon Pz lll J and a Hobby boss Pz ll J both built, but now need painting.
Are yes i'm one of them slow (snail pace) modellers, Will upload some pics when i've work out how to upload some and then look forward to joining in the forums, but be gentle with this old soul.

Been using Scale model shop for a couple of years now and didn't think i could leave john the owner any feedback call me stupid but never notice these forums, just wanted to thank you for excellent service John.

As a side note to milimod members being one myself,
haven't been a regular poster for some time on MM. I was more active around about 2008, but for years i've always browse that site. there are great builds, info, tips and techniques on there stretching back years and it's sad to see the site and mag disappear .

usually thats the best way to get to know the vast majority of modeller on the site and yes it's very laid-back and friendly.

Yes i've been looking through the site for about a week now, it's a great place has a good vibe going. For me, i think it's a good place to start back into moddelling again after 8 years away.

Also love looking in the si-fi forum had my heart set on a viper mkll from battlestar galactica for years now, but never got round to buying one, those fricking 1/35 tanks are always jumping the queue.
