    Afternoon...

Back after 35 years of non-participation!
I've just bought myself a 1/35 Tamiya Panzer IV D to start off.
Plans are afoot for weathering & the full works...we'll see how that goes!
(Cheap...ish) spray gun purchased, paint is arriving through the door gradually & other bits are on the way.
I know what I want to do...but I'm not sure whether it'll look as I hope. I'm sure that's a familiar situation to some... ;-)

                George,
welcome to the Forum, - don't worry about the Essex thing, nobody will hold it against you! :smiling5:
If it's 35 years since your last model, then things have changed soooo much! New makers, new materials, new techniques. Ask ANY question - we all had to start ( again ) somewhere. Good choice on the Tamiya Panther - nice fit, not too many parts...........
                Dave

Seems we have a bit of an influx of people who haven’t built a model in decades, so my advice to George would be to look up and read their questions first, since our answers will probably come in useful for him too

This sounds awfully like..."When all else fails, read the instructions". Something that's proven invaluable to me over the years... :tears-of-joy:
