    Welcome Andrew,
    - like the luxury cruiser ( reminds me of my own - I wish! ). We're a friendly, knowledgeable bunch here - If we can't answer any question, then someone will know where to find the answer!
We were all newbies once, and asking questions can help you avoid a lot of the pitfalls (which most of us have fallen down in the past ). So jump in and join in!
    Dave

And a big welcome from Germany Andrew. The guys have said it all and did you take the pictures of the Locomotive with an iPad? They look like some of mine.

Jump in, the water's fine, but a bit chilly this time of year……..

            Prost

              Welcome Andrew and Conkers,
Yes those were the days with airfix glue, and I am sure many of us started off from that point, and some of us still have those moments even today unintentional as they are....
You will find modellers of all types and subjects, and advice is here by the bucket full, all you have to do is ask, it may sound a bit stupid to you but those of us under the analyst get help with answering.
              Again welcome,
              Mike.

Thank you. I have subtly avoided showing the appalling hull finish! My black gloss was very sludgy, before I thought to thin it.

If it's any help, have plenty of masking tape ready for the deck painting!

                  Danke vielmals!

Taken on my Nikon D40 I think, my phone didn't have depth of field at that time. I need to set something up to give a better background and lighting for the photos, if they're worth building they're worth presenting properly!

                        Andrew

Welcome aboard. Love the work you've done so far and as a fairly recent convert to airbrushes I can say I don't regret the move. If you want to know more then send me a PM.

And above all congratulations on an outstanding name!!!!

dont let airbrushing scare you, just jump in and have a go, only way you will learn

I will look into airbrushing. Got a fairly whopping boat as my next intended project, and hand brushing for 3 coats it is filling me with dread.

Our daughter has decided Doggy doesn't think she's a princess enough, so just tarted her up.
