Hi all.
Thought since it had been so long since I've been on here (and so long since I've done any models) I should re-introduce myself.
I started off as a nipper doing WWII planes (as I'm sure most of us did). I remember having done a 1:72 Spitfire, a 1:72 Messerschmitt 109 and a Red Baron's triplane. I would hazard a guess that it was also 1:72 but it was so tiny it could've been smaller. Anyway, the reason these stick in my head is that they were damaged beyond repair when our house was broken into while we were away for the weekend. All my 10 year old mind was bothered about was that they'd damaged my models!
But that's neither here nor there.
I later moved onto F-14's as my choice of plane (thanks Top Gun :tears-of-joy: ). Planes were soon pushed aside for Games Workshop figures.
Then I put it all away as girls and booze came on the scene.
I came back to the hobby quite a while ago and found this forum. I was never what you might call a prolific poster but I did post photos of some dioramas and some other models I'd made.
Anyway, was clearing out the loft the other week and saw some kits I'd put aside to do some day. I ordered some glue and kits to compliment them as I already had a diorama scene forming in my head.
Going to need to order some more paint too as some of the pots I had have long since dried up but most are still perfect (thankfully).
Anyway, I'm back, I've paid my subs and will be looking for some help/advice soon as I've forgotten everything I knew about airbrushing.
PS Just as a side note, I wasn't doing time, just playing Xbox, learning guitar and spending money on archery kit (boy, that's an expensive hobby).
PPS My name's Drew, I'm from Glasgow but made Inverness my home in 1997.
