Yes it is a good kit, I had built one earlier, but due to a domestic incident it got smashed, sob sob.
Going by your handel, are you ex Para?.
    Stag on.
For my sins I started off that way Stuart, several years before serious injury and realisation I had (most of) a brain meant a temporary transfer to a Corps; a couple of rebadgings and finished up briefly in the Int Corps for my sins! Nearly a quarter Century of some really great times, lots of Loan Service and travel! Some hot, some cold and some that passed in an alcoholic haze! Nothing new there ...
    Stag on yourself mate!

      Welcome Stuart,
another happily retired old git here! I've spent quite a bit of time in Hull, at King George Dock & doing some professional qualifications ( stayed on Anlaby Road ). Some good & bad memories - one bad one being in a pub opposite the railway station - some disgruntled ejected customer let off a CS gas canister in the bar! Luckily I got out by a back door with only very minor symptoms! ( late 70's/early 80's ).

Was there an SKC there, when you were stationed there?
What time period were you there? Was it 50's/60's?
I was there in the 70's

My response to the 'Ascent unto the Heavens' Alan must be 'Utrinque Paratus '!- AKA 'Ready for Anything (except the unexpected)! Just a 'dope on a rope' response though! :hugging-face:

As a fellow newbie I thought I should say "Hello, I'm sure you'll receive a very warm welcome here", but it appears you've already discovered that!

                            Hello from me, too.
