Acrylic for me these days Bob. I cut my teeth on Humbrol, but the modern acrylic paint has too many advantages for me to go back. The only thing I think enamels are better at is dry brushing. They can be sprayed or brushed, but are slower drying than acrylic. I find that a disadvantage for the type of painting I do. They can be blended on the model quite nicely, but these days I prefer a different technique so donโt use them.
Just keep in mind that Tamiya and Vallejo type acrylic paints are different animals.
Tamiya/Mr hobby type paints are horrible for brush painting but spray excellently from an airbrush when thinned with Mr Color levelling thinner.
Vallejo/Games Workshop/ Lifecolour etc paints are great for brush painting but are a fiddle to spray.
Both clean up with water though, whereby enamels need white spirit.
I would read around and ask though, because my experience may differ from others.
