Welcome Bill, I wish to point out that I do not set fire to every thing as Chris has said, :smiling3:but advice can be given should the urge to burn anything comes upon you .
Hi all Bill here, my bro in law gave me the heads up about this site, Langy71. I am excited to view some of the work that's on here which hopefully will inspire me to try something new.
I build my fare share on scifi models, also anime figures and 55mm military figures. I am keen to learn more about boat and car building. This is some of my work
Bill,
Hi. The exhaust effect on the Shuttle is cute :thumb2:. 10/10 for ingenuity.
The Lindt bunny model looks hyper-realistic too :tears-of-joy:
Welcome.
John
Sounds good Bill. I’ve done quite a few Napoleonics in the past, but not many recently. A few years ago I did some Victrix British RFA that I thought were excellent figures. Also did some Perry French Carbiniers. Regarding the highlanders, are you hand painting the kilts or using Victrix transfers? Are the greys from the Heavy Dragoon box? What are they like?
A grande hello from me and welcome onboard.
As you'll find we're chilled and helpful of all abilities ..... no question is a silly question as they say
Have fun

Nice! Reminds me of “Scotland forever” by Lady Butler. Are you a gamer by any chance? Only asking because I can see you’ve based them as a gaming unit.
I'm not a gamer but would love to get into it these went into a diorama
If you are from the same location as Langy then you are well situated. Nottingham is gamer central in the UK, with a fair number of well known firms located there.
