I bought the Takom FV432 for nostalgic reasons as I drove and commanded one in the 70's when I was a REME plant mechanic attached to 23 Engineer Regt in BAOR. When I opened the box and saw what I had let myself in for I bought the Italeri Land Rover to practice on but I think I might need a few more under my belt before I do the 432.

First kit I ever did was an Airfix Dakota ,aged nine, far too many years ago.

As I have been asked, here is one of my figures.

                Thank you Steve.

The Samurai is a Pegaso piece although I have many of Ray Lamb's Poste Militaire.

23 Engineer Regt were in Osnabruck when I was with them (1974-76).

I painted the Ray Lamb mounted Samurai when it was first released Bill - many moons ago now! Somebody paid ยฃ200 for it - that resulted in a mega hangover and the clearing of my mess bill! I recall now that it was 26 Armd Engr Sqn I was thinking of - good drinking buddies!

The way you describe is what I was expecting, however clicking on the larger icon does not open any options,
Is this because I have not upgraded or because I use adblocker? I do get a permanent notice in the corner of the page asking me to upgrade.
