I mostly build 72nd scale aircraft and 144th spacecraft. I do a lot of 3d printing, particularly resin printing. I'm in the U.S., but looking for an active community. This one was recommended to me and I'm excited to check it out.

I should have mentioned that right now I'm in the middle of an Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR9. I've been creating a lot of models in Fusion 360 to 3D print for it such as seamless engine nozzles, fuel tanks and some other bits and bobs. I'll take some pictures soon and add it to the Aircraft Under Construction section -
Welcome, Ed, to a very helpful, friendly forum. A few people here are interested in 3D printing although to many of us it's a bit of a mystery. I look forward to seeing your Harrier. Many of these Airfix 1/72 scale planes are excellent kits.Comment

Hi Ed. Good to see you. Your journey through 3D printing will be very interesting to us I’m sure. Have a good look around and post some pictures when you are comfortable.Comment

And a warm welcome from me too, Ed.
3D printing is the new frontier of model making and I'm always (or still...)intrigued by new things.

Yay, a fellow printer! I haven't heard yet of anyone else creating their own aftermarket stuff, although I'm sure there must be more of us.
What kit do you have?
Welcome, by the way!Comment
