Welcome and do not worry about the standard of the builds, always plenty of constructive advice and help available no matter how silly you think the question is.
Ian,
welcome to the forum. You'll find a lot of like minded friendly modellers here. I have done a few 1/24 cars myself, I prefer track cars, rather than road cars, and have a few in the stash...........
I would suggest you do a build log, that way, you can get advice and comments on a stage-by-stage basis, rather than just putting up a picture of a finished model. You can be warned of the pitfalls everyone else has fallen down! Above all enjoy yourself!
Dave
Welcome Ian. Looking forward to seeing your work. Dave’s advice is sound. Jump right in. You won’t get unwanted criticism, just helpful advice here :thumb2:
In the process of deciding what make of kit, but my interests are with the 1/24 scale cars. Hopefully will start gluing my fingers together by the weekend
Welcome along Ian, it’s already been said but this is a great forum whatever your level of skill. There is always a willingness to help people whatever they’re making. Break out that glue and get started. Great avatar, love Calvin and Hobbes
Welcome Ian, I'm sure you will enjoy this forum, don't worry about glueing your fingers together......most of us have already done that and can all give expert advice/opinions on how to free ones digits from captivity! :thumb2:
