Howdy Ed, glad yer in Florida and not me. Spent three years off and on in the Pensacola and Jacksonville area when in the Navy. Just hangin' out in NW Montana these days and swearing at all the "transplants" that have started showing up in the last 3 years.

Spent a couple of months in Florida, a small place, Stuart, near Ft Lauderdale!! Had a great time. 96 degrees at 6pm in March, just unbelievable.

Nice town about 1 1/2 hrs north of Ft Lauderdale

Ship was in Lauderdale and stayed with friends in laws for a while!! (It was about 1987 so I bet there have one or two changes)

Hi Ed.

I also like modern military jets, recently finished Mavericks FA-18. I've also built the Revell F-15, following which I swore I'd never build another Revell kit. Tamiya & Meng are much nicer, though a bit more spendy.

This is true. If only we had warm.., although TBH April through to October tend to be pretty good. I took this last year. About 110F in your money.
