    Hello from Ayrshire, (ex Gannet)

    Hi I’m Pinglie,

Ex Wafu, mk4,5 & 6 Sea Kings ( bit of Wessex HU5 also) hence pinglie. Currently building 1/72 Sea Kings in Mk5 & 6 ASW, HU5 SAR. Junglie is complete.

I would like the 1/48 versions eventually, even have pics of the 195M and Lapads table. Glad they replaced it!

Rick on page 2 of your build you ask about the stuff near the rear wheel, I have that photo also and it looks like the rear carrier for torpedoes or depth charges.

Like you I’m hoping for a few sets of 819 decals once I buy the big ones.

Hi there. Ex Gannet myself. Two tours.
Did the junglie bit too. Then, Wasp circuit until I transferred aircrew.
It’s good on ere so ‘dip’ your fingers and join in the fun.

                  Below
Two of 819's Mk5's in a car park in Fairley. The near SK had struck the whip aerial on a PAS boat and took off a fair few inches of composite blades. The second SK carried the maintenance team who had sod all to maintain as it was a road job for 04!!
I'm stood by the nose of 04.

                        Hi Alasdair and welcome.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
