Looking forward to being able to show you all a finished model sometime, and learning from you all too.
Do not worry, I thought it was a shortened version of Wenslydale or something similar.
By the way welcome to the forum.

Welcome Colin - whatever you choose to call yourself!
It does your modelling skills a lot of good to change genres, and try something new! 1/16 is the smallest I'll go with stand alone figures & in nearly 60 years of modelmaking, I've only made one SF model ( and that was for a mates' kid ).............

          Hi Colin and welcome
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

A warm welcome, Colin, to what is certainly the most friendly, most helpful forum out there.

Hi there Windy aka Colin. You have indeed stumbled upon a gold mine of friendliness and maybe a few barmy fruitcakes - but we don't bite. Build - yes but bite - Nah!!!!! Looking forward to seeing your builds if you decide to show them.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Iv nearly finished a couple of miniart figures at 1/16.
Relatively uncomplicated to build, but the mould fit isn't the greatest.

You said it - I've only ever finished one MiniArt 1/16 Figure - the Athenian Hoplite, given up on several! Try the ICM 1/16 Viking, Centurion or Gladiator ( or even the Game of Thrones trio! )

Welcome aboard Colin. Thank goodness you didn't settle for Windyish as it would have been lingering stale aroma with a whiff of curry if you had Brians dinner. :tears-of-joy: I am at the moment modifying a figure for a small vignette and hope to post up some pictures of the wip soon.

                                Cheers,
                                Richard aka Wabble
