I have been retired for 4 years and have just taken up model building (on top of everything else - you never work harder than when you retire). Building 1/35 tanks, I served in the Royal Australian Armored Corp early '70s and started training on Centurion before transferring to Cavalry. I also enjoy Motorcycle riding and restoring old British bikes, renovating our older house, gardening community work, and am the secretary of our local RSL (Return Services Club).
I live in a beautiful part of NSW The Southern Highlands, except it gets bloody cold (probably not to the same extent as Europe or North America). I am enjoying this new hobby.

Plenty of old modellers on here, and young boys yet to reach 70.
The subject sections are many and varied, comments are usefull and the humour is humour, although we are now under the threat of political lock up if we say a naughty word....
So, join in and enjoy the banter, chat and sometimes the modelling although some of us do not show off the fish net stockings as the manufacturer envisioned....
